Meet the team

ACRO’s team has evolved over the years from people who love Ayn Rand and study her work.

George Grigoropoulos is a Chartered Auditor living and working in London. He is a member of the board of KEFIM.  He has funded Yaron Brook’s first visit in Greece in 2013 and has funded all the projects related to Ayn Rand in Greece. He has given many lectures on Ayn Rand’s work in Greece. 

Nikos Sotirakopoulos is a Sociology lecturer at the University of Loughborough and the chief academic advisor to ACRO. He recently authored  the book ‘The Rise of Lifestyle Activism’,  published by Palgrave Mac Millan.

Anna Kotsaki is a recent adition, an events promoter, marketing and communications advisor and she will work on organising the ACROCON.

Fotis Doukas is a graduate of the Commerce and Advertisement College and has a master at Hotel Management. He has been a member of the board of Thessaloniki Marketing Club for three years and he is working for 6 years on e-marketing, social media management, event organising whilst during the last 3 months he has founded a new company Newsoft Marketing Solutions

Thomas Gazis is the main ACRO coordinator in Athens, Greece. He is an Economics and Business graduate. He has organised a series of events in Athens including Yaron Brook’s talk in October 2016 and the book launch of the Greek translation of the ‘Virtue of Selfishness’

Yannis Garantzotis has studied mathematics, he owns a graphic arts workshop and has been a consultant to the Chamber of Industry of Thessaloniki. He is a member of the Thessaloniki Liberal Club and maintains the venue ‘Aristotle’ where the TLC hosts its events.

Nikos Charalambous is an Architect living in London. He is a member of the board of KEFIM and one of its trustees. He set up ACRO and manages the seed grant from the Objectivist Venture Fund. He translated in Greek, Ayn Rand’s ‘Virtue of Selfishness’, edited and managed the publication of Ayn Rand’s ‘Anthem’ and Yaron Brook and Don Watkins’s ‘Free Market Revolution’.

Dimitris Botsis is a business consultant and he has translated Yaron Brook and Don Watkins’s ‘Free Market Revolution’ in Greek. He is participating at the translation of Ayn Rand’s ‘Capitalism: the Unknown Ideal’.

Elena Korre is a teacher of classics and theatre at the Arsakeio High School.
